Meridian Lawyers propels its digital strategy forward with ground-breaking technology from Cicero AI

by Insuralex / Friday, 06 September 2024 / Published in Meridian Lawyers, News + Articles

Insuralex Australia (Meridian Lawyers) is thrilled to announce its partnership with Automatise, the company behind Cicero, the first private AI solution for legal professionals.

Adopting Cicero as an application to automate effort intensive tasks and create better outcomes for clients were the primary motivators for Meridian to seek a solution to help advance its digital strategy.

Commenting on the revolutionary phase in the firm’s history, Meridian’s Managing Director Paul Baker said:

“Exploring opportunities to continuously streamline processes and enhance efficiencies is something we have always embraced. It’s in our DNA – we encourage our people to improve existing ways of working and to look for opportunities to create value for our clients. Cicero is revolutionary. I am excited about the enormous benefits this application will bring to our business and to our clients”.

Meridian will shortly commence a pilot program of Cicero to evaluate more fully the application’s performance with a view to scheduling a broader rollout across its business.

Dan Cartwright, Meridian’s Head of Technology and Digital Solutions, says:

“Partnering with Automatise and adding Cicero to our technology applications is transformative for our business. The possibilities for enhancing everyday processes for litigated and non-litigated matters using Cicero is extraordinary. We look forward to exploring the additional efficiencies the application will provide.”

Data security is paramount for Meridian. Dan Cartwright comments:

“The decision to choose this application over others is driven by Automatise’s unwavering focus on data security and integrity, which directly aligns with our priorities. Storing data in a secure, private cloud infrastructure is a non-negotiable for us and our clients.”

Commenting about the partnership with Meridian, Automatise’s Managing Director, Joseph Rayment, says:

“We are excited to welcome Meridian on board and to play a leading role in driving the business forward on its digital journey through the Cicero platform. We see a great alignment with Meridian. Their focus on elevating the client experience and implementing internal efficiencies to enhance the day-to-day experience for their staff aligns with our own goals. The robust security and privacy measures of Cicero along with the relevant certifications and controls that are in place through Automatise’s practices, meet the high standards demanded by Meridian and their clients, safeguarding sensitive information, and preserving the integrity and confidentiality of data.”
