From the 1st May, 2025 Markian Malskyy becomes the new managing partner of ARZINGER (Insuralex Exclusive Member in Ukraine), replacing Timur Bondaryev, founding partner. Timur Bondaryev has held this position almost ever since the firm was founded 23 years ago and has built a strong legal brand known not only in Ukraine but also worldwide.
“It is vital for any business to regularly “refresh the blood” to boost the new energy. This is the reason I decided to resign from the position I have held for many years to give the new generation of partners a chance to step into it. I am happy that the partners unanimously supported Markian’s candidacy and believe that his fresh perspective and experience will help to strengthen ARZINGER’s positions. Markian has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills during his time as a partner at the firm and I have no doubt that he is the ideal choice to achieve the goals set by the partners. It is obvious though that I am not withdrawing from business and will continue to be actively involved in development and implementation of the firm’s strategy in my capacity as founding & senior partner of ARZINGER. I will further continue focusing on expansion and strengthening the firm’s international footprint and strategic alliances with ARZINGER’s friends – international and independent law firms. My hours, which I used to spend for operational management, I will useto strengthen contacts with the firm’s clients and develop the practices I am responsible for, - antitrust, transactions and international arbitration. I want to finally spend more time mentoring next generations of ARZINGER. These have been incredible years of ups and downs, challenges, successes, failures, experiences and mistakes, and I am sincerely grateful to everyone who has been around over the years, trusted and helped to build ARZINGER. I am convinced that under Markian’s leadership, ARZINGER will continue its steady progress and increase its market share. In turn, I will make every effort to help Markian reach the necessary ‘cruising’ speed as soon as possible, commented Timur Bondaryev, founding and senior partner.
Mr. Malskyy has been with the company for over 15 years. He is an attorney-at-law, LL.D, Honorary Consul of Austria in Lviv (since 2016), and former Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration. In January 2025, he rejoined ARZINGER as a partner. Mr. Malskyy specializes in legal support of investment projects and dispute resolution, including international commercial and investment arbitration.
