Attorney Steven E. Buckingham Elected to the Executive Committee of the Upstate Inns of Court
GREENVILLE, SC – Gallivan, White & Boyd, P.A. is pleased to announce that Steven E. Buckingham has been elected to the Executive Committee of the Upstate Chapter of the American Inns of Court as the Associates’ Liaison. As noted by the American Inns of Court, “Inns of Court are designed to improve the skills, professionalism and ethics of the bench and bar. An American Inn of Court is an amalgam of judges, lawyers, and in some cases, law professors and law students. Each Inn meets approximately once a month to hold programs and discussions on matters of ethics, skills and professionalism.”
Buckingham is a Senior Associate at GWB where he practices in the areas of business and commercial law as well as banking, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights. Steve is a member of the Greenville County Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar, the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He also serves the community through his involvement with Furman University, the United Way of Greenville County, the Leadership Greenville Alumni Association, the NEXT Charter High School, and the Poinsett Corridor Revitalization Coalition.
